What is a 404 page redirect URL and what are the set up options?

• Customize your error page by redirecting it.

Short URLs = custom domain + short hash (myshortdomain.com/obza4). It seems simple enough. Still, if a visitor makes a mistake in the short hash, it will default to a TINY/not found (404 error page). The "404 page redirect" option allows you to create a separate "error" page so link mistakes (as described above) will go to the page of your dedicated choice.

To set up a custom 404 page:

• Log in to your account.
• Go to Domains > Domain Settings > 404 page redirect.
• Enter the custom 404 URL into the box marked: "404 page redirect URL" (for example - http://mysite.com/faq/landingpage.html ).

PLEASE NOTE: The 404 page redirect URL destination can't be the same as your custom domain. Using the latter as your custom domain for this setting will result in an endless loop error.
